*Jim of 'Social Disease' sent us this an interview, so thanx to him. We've got no fucking answers,
so we'll try to remember them, OK?
Q: Why have you got 2 singers?
Jim: We thought two singers was a good idea cause it seemed more powerful and interesting
but since the single we've got rid of Hag.
Q: Have you had gigs recently?
Jim: Not in the past couple of months as it's hard to gig in Bristol so you have to go
outside Bristol, but we've got loads coming up.
Q: Have got a following?
Jim: We've got a local following called 'The Utter-Nutters'
Q: When is your next single coming out?
Jim: We're going into the studio next week to record our next single called
'Nobody's Fool' and we also want to make a 12".
Q: What do you think of fanzines?
Jim: I think fanzines are very good and as the bigger papers don't feature punk bands
so it's the only way to keep in touch with things.
Q: When did you form?
Jim: We formed in 1980.
Q: Who thought of the name?
Jim: Hag thought of the name as most old people think the youth is a disease
of society, it also means the pox.
Q: What are your ideas on anarchy?
Jim: Our ideas on anarchy is peaceful communal idea when the youth combines with each other
instead of fighting and no-one's looked down upon by those who think themselves higher than
everybody else. People live how they want to live without people staring at them or calling
them cunts or wankers for the way they dress. That's how our ideas of anarchy is put across
in our numbers.*
